The Ferrari Testarossa rose to the center of the automotive world in 1984 and remained the fastest official production car in the world for 11 years. It was the definition of a ‘supercar’ for its time and the revolutionary benchmark by which all modern sports cars are measured.When Ferrari set out to develop a successor to his Berlinetta Boxer, the V12 engine, high Performance, style and exemplary design were envisioned. Ferrari dictated that it should also include the luxury and practicality befitting the world’s best production sports car. Testarossa grabbed the hearts of car lovers.
From the collection of Barry Amsdell, Boca Raton, Florida. Bought second hand in 2006 from a dealer in Neptune City, NJ with 7500 miles. Except for 97 miles since its purchase in 2006, the Testarossa, like the rest of the collection, has been stored and displayed in Mr. Amsdell’s Boca Raton commercial garage, as seen in the photos shown here. .
