At innovative multimedia company Free Lion Productions, award-winning filmmaker Fiona Dawson hopes to “foster empathy through multimedia projects that educate, entertain and inspire.”
She describes one of Free Lion’s biggest and most personal projects. this time with fiona, a “multimedia machine” offering shows, animated commentators, talks, books, podcasts and merchandise. “All of our work is focused on telling positive stories of kindness and courage from the LGBTQ+ community.”
Dawson describes herself as “45, cisgender, bisexual, immigrant woman, trans-alai….I am a yogi and a practitioner of meditation. believe.”
Speaking of her proudest achievements last year, she said: I started looking into her campervan in 2017 hoping to one day get one to live in full time. In March of this year, that dream came true. I just purchased a new Gulfstream Vintage Cruiser. This looks like her 1950s diner. Her color is like a Tiffany’s box, so I named her camper Audrey, after my muse, Audrey Hepburn. ”
“I managed to get accepted to live in Pecan Grove RV Park, which was once dug by Matthew McConaughey,” she adds. “This place is the coolest and most fun place to live!”
Dawson’s new book,Are Bisexuals Just Greedy? Animated Answers for Anyone Who Simply Wants to Understand the Spectrum of Being LGBTQ+, will be released in November. “Discussions about the Sassy Chapter can be heard on my podcast and on her media channels on social,” she says.
“My next big project is…this time with fiona I just picked it up for distribution,” Dawson said of her upcoming plans. “As your host, I travel to uncover answers to fairly direct questions about gender and sexuality in an uplifting and ‘educating’ way. @nowwithfiona
