Pittsburgh police say six people were shot outside a funeral in the Brighton Heights neighborhood on Friday. All six victims are believed to be in stable condition, police said. At this time, police said they have no information on any potential suspects. Pittsburgh Mayor Ed Gainey made an impassioned plea for peace in the city. “We have to make sure this doesn’t happen again,” Gainey said. The mayor repeatedly called for an end to the violence, imploring people not to retaliate.
