Adele has been stripped of her Las Vegas residency.
The 34-year-old singer wants her upcoming show at Caesars Palace to be more “intimate” than previously planned.
A source explains: “Adele has revised the plan for the show and removed it. The production will be very polished and the show will focus on her energy and vocals.”
The “Someone Like You” hitmaker had previously postponed her residency due to “delivery delays and the novel coronavirus.”
An insider told The Sun’s bizarre column: “The January show had space for a significant orchestra and band, along with a 60-person choir. It was very theatrical.
“Now she wants to be more intimate and connect with the audience by being with them during performances.
“Adele hopes to make a name for herself with this show and be recognized as one of Sin City’s greatest headliners.
“What’s great about this approach is that intimacy is unlike any other kind of acting. Adele’s show is full of her warmth and personality.
“This production still features dazzling events in stunning backgrounds with the help of screens and stage props.
“The choir is currently discussing whether to bring in additional singers for the finale featuring ‘Skyfall’.”
Adele postponed her entire Las Vegas residency back in January, just 24 hours before opening night.
The award-winning star then took to social media to explain the decision to fans.
