    ADR closes higher, Airbus and Flutter Entertainment trade briskly

    The international stock market trading in New York closed higher on Friday.

    The S&P/BNY Mellon Index of American Depositary Receipts rose 1.9% to 123.41. The European index increased 2% to 118.62, the Asian index increased 1.4% to 138.96, the Latin American index increased 3.5% to 196.35 and the emerging markets index increased 1.7% to 245.28. became.

    Airbus SE and Flutter Entertainment PLC are among the companies with actively traded ADRs.

    Airbus’ ADR rose 1.9%, trailing Amazon.com. Inc. said it will hire Hawaiian Airlines to fly the package across the United States in 10 of his rented Airbus SE jets.

    Flutter Entertainment’s ADR rose 1.7% after it announced that Chief Financial Officer Jonathan Hill would step down and take over as Chief Operating Officer of the newly created group. The company said it has named InterContinental Hotels Group PLC CFO Paul Edgecliffe-Johnson as his successor.

    Adidas AG’s ADR fell 4.1% after the German sportswear company’s third profit warning of the year. The company said on Thursday it was facing temporary cost ties with Russia and the impact of the pandemic in China.
