Two downtown Akron locations host fun food events in November. The Akron Summit County Main Library and the Akron Art Museum.
First, on November 3rd, the museum will offer a lesson on our current meat obsession. “Sip in the Studio: The Art of Food Styling” will be served from 6pm to 7:30pm, and her stylist Liz Stannard, food at her Waxed Crescent Grazing Co. in Akron, will invite guests over the holidays. Share your tips for creating a beautiful charcuterie her board that will amaze. Season.
Don Drum:Akron Museum of Art showcases works by local artists for the first time
Attendees create a single-serving board with cheeses, cured meats, and seasonal accompaniments. Take this home or enjoy it with a complimentary glass of wine during class.

Then, on November 12th, the library will host Akron Eats: World Cuisine. This is a complimentary celebration of local diversity and culture through downtown cuisine from noon to 3pm. The event will be held at 60 S. High St. and will offer flavors from around the world created by Summit County restaurants.

Akron vendors include Akronym Brewing, Bereka Coffee & Kitchen (Ethiopia), Cilantro Thai & Sushi Restaurant (Thai-Japanese hybrid), Cookie’s BBQ (Chicago flavor), Evelyn’s Coffee & Banh Mi (Vietnam), The Flavor Grille (Jamaica) included. , House of Tacos (Peru), Nepali Kitchen, Paul’s Hibachi (Japanese), Reeves Cake Shop, Sima’s Tastes (Persian and Mediterranean), Sushi Katsu (Japanese), The Tea Lady (World Tea), Vasili’s Greek Cuisine. Bereka Kitchen, Cookie’s BBQ, House of Tacos, and Sima’s Tastes are regular highlights at his NoHi pop-ups in North Hill.

Akronym will provide a free 5 oz drink to the first 100 adults 21+ on a first come, first serve basis, and chef Jennifer Tidwell will provide live food demos at 12:30pm and 1:30pm. No registration is required to participate.
