Thanks to Apple’s new home lock hitting stores this month, IPHONE users can skip traditional keys and secure their entire home with just their phone.
Described by Apple as “the smallest, most capable smart lock ever,” Level Lock+ allows iPhone or Apple Watch users to lock their front door directly from their smart device.

Manufactured by Level Home, this lock is the first to be sold in Apple stores and is available in gray or black for $329.95.
After attaching the lock to the door of their home, users can lock and unlock their home with a simple tap of their iPhone or Apple Watch.
It comes with extra features like using Siri to lock or unlock your doors and sharing home access with friends and family via the Home app.
After you receive your keys, anyone with access to your home can add their keys directly to Apple Wallet.

For those who prefer to give up keys entirely, Home Lock can also automatically unlock doors when users approach with Auto Unlock, or lock doors when they leave with Auto Unlock.
However, users can use programmable key cards or regular keys if they want the familiar feel of keys in their pocket.
Apple users must have iOS 11.4 or later operating system to access the Lock feature. Internet access is also required for some features.
The long-awaited lock comes after it was first unveiled by the tech giant in 2021, making smart home items increasingly in demand.
“There are questions that are currently being raised in this category,” Level CEO John Martin recently told CNBC.
“The question is, are smart locks consumer electronics or are they traditional locks made smarter?”
Martin also told UPI that the new locks address everyday habits that are “more digitally intertwined than ever.”

“Consumer behavior is evolving to rely on enhanced technology to make secure access more convenient,” said the CEO.
“This is available to iPhone and Apple Watch users, and we see people ready to integrate smart locks into their daily lives.”
