There’s only one thing better than Gregg’s sausage rolls. It’s homemade.
But if you’re having trouble getting your pastries to rise in the oven, there’s another way, and it’s much easier.

But one foodie revealed how to make it at home in 12 minutes using just three ingredients in your air fryer.
Becky Excell from the UK shared her recipe on TikTok.
she said:
All you need to make is sausage, puff pastry and eggs.

She begins by peeling the sausage skin to remove the sausage meat, then stretching the pastry and cutting it in half.
Becky then adds a dollop of mustard to the pastry. She uses gluten free, but she’s fine with anything. I explained that the mustard was optional.
“In less than 15 minutes, you can have freshly baked, homemade sausage rolls,” she added.
After spreading mustard, foodies place sausage meat on top and glaze one side of the pastry before folding.
Then crimp the edges with a fork so the pastry stays closed while cooking, and cut a notch in the top of the sausage roll to keep the filling from spilling out.
The foodie then uses an egg for the final glaze, then adds it to the air fryer at 200 degrees for 12-14 minutes.
Becky added:
She then showed off the finished sausage rolls, which were pretty similar to the ones she bought at Gregg’s, and people couldn’t wait to try them.
One person wrote, “I did it, great. Thanks for showing me how.”
Another commented, “I got an air fryer..I’m going to give it a try.”
