The boldness to try new things and break with the monochrome trend is what sets this home apart.
“This project is a representation of who our client is, a young influencer with a lot of personality and style,” they said. As with any project we do, our goal is to embody who the client is and what they want to achieve.”
To achieve that, Ebony Clarke and Jamila Watkins went all-in on a colorful boho style filled with natural elements and glamorous statement pieces.
“Going into this project, we had a solid idea of a sophisticated, bohemian look.” I wanted to lean into the concept of inviting.”
For them, the team really stuck the landing in the content room.
“We love our content room,” they said. “The large black-paneled windows are beautiful and let in lots of natural light. They create the perfect backdrop for collecting fashion or creating content. The blue chandelier set the tone and created a lovely atmosphere.”
For those who feel inspired by this project, the co-founder of Lauren Wesley Designs said artistic success at home comes at a price.
“When designing a challenge, I sometimes feel insecure about choosing colors for fun wallpaper or non-traditional upholstery,” they said. No, design should be inspiring and always fun.”
After all, your willingness to take risks can be rewarding in more ways than a swanky new look.
“Our clients invite us not only into their homes, but into their lives,” they said. “While we leave their homes beautiful, we hope to inspire them to live well and prioritize what makes them feel alive.”
