The Palm Springs Museum of Art is hosting a free Day of the Dead/Dia de los Muertos celebration on Sunday.

The organizers said it will be full of altars, dance, music, art, storytelling and tributes to those who have passed away.There will be presentations and performances by Danza Azteca Citlaltonac, as well as an introductory workshop on indigenous Mexican drumming. will be Food and drink will also be provided by Taquizas El Chicali and AA Cheledas.


Day of the Dead/Día de los Muertos is a cultural tradition in which families and communities gather to build altars, build paths, and welcome the dead into their homes for a day of visitation and celebration.
Admission to the museum is free. The event takes place on Sundays from 10am to 5pm.
