Christmas at Dolly Parton’s Stampede arrives earlier than ever this year, with an opening date of Thursday, October 27, 2022.
Featuring an authentic nativity scene, holiday decorations, seasonal music, Santa Claus sightings, and a four-course holiday feast, spending Christmas at Dolly’s has become a tradition for families of all ages.
Dolly Parton’s Stampede General Manager Brian Kossiboom said: “The sounds of the season and our talented cast make our show a place to create memories and enjoy this special time together. Live Nativity allows us to share and celebrate the true meaning of the holiday. Many families tell us that this show has become a treasured part of their annual holiday tradition. I love to hear.”
Known for its friendly relay between the North and South Poles, equestrian feats, music and seasonal twists of comedy, the true meaning of the season also comes to life at the dinner attraction. The birth of Jesus is depicted in a fully alive Nativity with Mary, Joseph, the Three Wise Men on camels, a donkey and a shepherd leading a flock of sheep.
As part of the show’s performance of The Nutcracker Suite, the Sugar Plum Fairies bring toys to life in a magical musical production of toys. Christmas celebrations are complete when Santa Claus arrives in a sleigh ride and the arena transforms into a winter wonderland of fresh snow.
Dolly’s Christmas includes Whole Rotisserie Chicken, Hickory Smoked Barbecue Pork Loin, Herbed Baked Potatoes, Buttered Corn on the Cob, Creamy Vegetable Soup, Homemade Biscuits, Special Holiday Desserts, Unlimited Sodas, Tea or Coffee. Vegetarian and gluten-free meals are available on request.
