ARLINGTON, Va., Jan. 24, 2023 /EINPresswire.com/ — The University of Management and Technology (UMT) has been featured in the monthly magazine published by the Fraternal Order of Police. As a member of the National Fraternal Order of Police University Consortium (NFOPU Consortium) of 23 colleges and universities, UMT offers degree programs that meet the educational needs of police, first responders, and their families.
FOP members can choose from one of UMT’s more than 30 degree and certificate programs, but most members choose degree programs in criminal justice and homeland security. Founded 14 years ago, UMT’s CJ and HS degree programs have trained thousands of criminal justice and homeland security professionals, as well as other first responders and administrators.
Dr. Davidson Frame, Academic Dean of UMT, said: “We are also the most affordable within the consortium.”
UMT CJ/HS faculty and staff have decades of law enforcement experience. They have held various positions in criminal justice and homeland security, including police chief, fire chief, special agent, and attorney. They are on the White House advance team and the presidential campaign. These faculty have received extensive police and homeland security training from the Law Enforcement Training Center, the National Emergency Training Center, and the Department of Homeland Security. He has also received a Leadership Award and Certificate of Commendation.
“I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at UMT and the excellent support provided by the staff during my trip. Not a single question was left unanswered and I never felt ignored.” — Quintalia Massey, MSCJ
