Williamstown restaurant owner Chris Bender said he was grateful for the nomination and the continued support not only from the staff, but from the loyal customers who have been coming for years and decades.
“I’m really proud that we were chosen. We were nominated and selected for ‘America’s Best Restaurant.’ It’s fun. Everything goes back to our employees and customers. It’s not me. believe me. So this restaurant is built on the community, employees and customers who have been here for years and years,” says Bender.
Vendors say they pride themselves on their food selections, which are offered from a menu of about 85 items.
Among these are the shrimp cocktail, the trademark ‘German Pizza’ and the restaurant’s recent invention of the ‘Elvis Pie’.
