DC Restaurant Week is almost over, but foodies can still get their fix at the upcoming restaurant deals in Alexandria and Fairfax.
The Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Association’s Winter Restaurant Week ends on January 22nd. Across the metro area he has 270 restaurants and hopes to attract new followers with discounted multi-course meals.
Foodies can now add Alexandria and Fairfax City to their calendars.
Alexandria Restaurant Week was first held in 2009. Over 10 days, including two weekends, from January 20th to January 29th, 80 participating restaurants will offer $25, $35, or $45 flat-price dinner menus. A special menu is available for face-to-face dining.
Price ranges reflect a wide range of participating restaurants from fast casual to fine dining across Alexandria, including Carlisle and Eisenhower, Old Town, Deli Rei and West End.
The 6th annual Fairfax City Winter Restaurant Week is scheduled from March 6th to March 12th. Participating Fairfax City restaurants will offer $25 prix fixe brunch and lunch specials, and $40 multi-course dinner menus. Some specialty restaurants offer “$2 for $10” menus.
Over 20 Fairfax City restaurants are participating this year. Fairfax City Restaurant Week is co-organized by the Fairfax City Economic Development Authority and the Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce.
