Drew Barrymore Reflecting on her childhood innocence with some of her peers E.T. cast mate.
The actor-turned-talk-show host is putting the band back together in the next episode. The Drew Barrymore Showshe admitted today that she believed the extraterrestrial dolls were real while filming the cult classic in a preview shared on the show’s Instagram account on Oct. 28.
“I believed ET was real,” she revealed during the sneak peek’s first moments. “I really, really loved him,” she continued. I used to bring him lunch when I was little.
Henry Thomasplayed Elliot, but jumped in to share that she wasn’t just making sure he was well-fed. It was pretty cold on stage, but I asked the lady in the wardrobe if ET could put a scarf around his neck as it was getting colder, and the scarf around his neck. Dee [Wallace]who played their mother, Mary, has a great story,” he said, changing the subject.
“Well, we caught you talking to ET. Steven [Spielburg] Since then, Stephen has appointed two men to keep ET alive so he can react whenever you speak to him.
Barrymore was clearly touched upon learning this information, and her eyes seemed to perk up before the clip began.
Her followers have been thrilled with the behind-the-scenes insight and impressed by how hard the crew worked to keep the magic alive for her.
