While many brunch options have remained closed or gone altogether due to the pandemic, Eggs Up Grill hosted in-person tastings for Bay Area food lovers. It was staggered to maintain distancing protocols, but it reunited long-lost foodies at a time when pandemic fatigue began.

Tampa foodies and food influencers are happy to support this minority-owned breakfast and lunch restaurant that helped bring hope back to Tampa Bay’s culinary scene. In the months since Eggs Up Grill’s grand opening, its parking lot was filled with Tampanians flocking to Riverview to see what the brunch topic was about.

Eggs Up Grill not only opened during the pandemic, it thrived. Amazingly, restaurant owner/operator Conyers never let go of his career. John Conyers is a firefighter and Priscilla Conyers is a clinical pharmacist. They are also raising two school-aged children.

In its second month of opening, Eggs Up Grill sponsored Restaurant Road to Game Day Restaurant Week, December 4-13, leading up to Super Bowl LV. Restaurant Week was part of the NFL Business Connect program in partnership with the Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV Host Committee. The event invited foodies to explore various owned restaurants in his Bay of Tampa.
