This week’s Foodie Friday brought us to Kyle.
I visited the Texas Pie Company, which has a simple slogan: “Life is short, eat more pie.”
Located in Texas’ Pie Capital, this Kyle spot offers delicious pies, baked goods, quiches, casseroles, lunches, and daily specials.
The Texas Pie Company says its pies come from chef Julie Albertson’s grandmother and her treasured recipes passed down through generations of her family.
“True Southern comfort food,” the restaurant describes on its website. “We are known for our handcrafted pies and casseroles. Texas Pie Company is also a full-service restaurant offering daily lunch specials, casseroles, freshly made sandwiches, salads, and many other desserts. Family photos adorn the walls with unique art, creating a fun, vibrant and colorful atmosphere.”
