With the recent launch of the Google Pixel 7 Pro smartphone, it gives you an idea of how durable Google’s latest Android device is.
Below is a video of the new Pixel 7 Pro smartphone by JerryRigEverything that puts it through various durability tests.
This includes a display scratch test, a display burn test, and a device bend test. Let’s see how it works.
As you can see from the first test video where the handset display was scratched, the device showed level 6 and 7 scratches. This is in line with the majority of smartphones available on the market today.
In the second test, the burn test, the handset permanently damaged the display, but the display is still functional.
The final test of the Google Pixel 7 Pro, the bend test, shows that the device passed the bend test without causing any permanent damage to the device. It appears to have survived the test, but the bend test may have compromised the handset’s water resistance.
The new Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones were officially unveiled last month. Both handsets are available now and are powered by the new Google Tensor G2 processor.
