Well, there’s a battle for the best breakfast potatoes in Tucson, so I’m putting my money into Cup Cafe. These are so good I couldn’t wait for the pictures. sorry Sorry!
locale neighborhood italian
Everything about Locale’s menu is on point, but the appetizers there are to be commended. You can always lounge on the sunny patio and laugh with friends over an Aperol spritzer or the best app, Fried His Artichokes. meatball! Calamari! Come on… let’s head there now!
El Cisne Restaurant
The classic tres leches cake is taken to the next level with El Cisne’s moist and creamy Cinco Leches confection. I’m not sure what the five milks in this recipe are, but complemented by subtle hints of cinnamon and citrus, I can attest that they work well.
Locale Bakery & Cafe
These individual coconut cream pies from Locale’s Bakery may be small, but they’re delicious.
Chef Wang’s grilled eggplant, potato and shrimp lo-men. The restaurant was very busy on Christmas day. A dish like this shows why.

Lawry’s Mexican Patio
If adding birria to ramen is wrong, I am not right. This Japanese-Mexican fusion dish combines the mild flavor of ramen with the strong, aromatic flavor of birria, making it an exciting addition to comfort food. with a twist.
In my first article celebrating club sandwiches being loved and devoured here in Tucson, my main goal was not to play my favourites. Well, I’m currently working on “Part 2” of that series, so I have to say that Arizona Inn’s Club Sandwich stood out among the hand-picked greats. A boutique hotel with a rich mahogany-scented library was unimaginably gigantic. Chef Alon Fonte Grushka just kills it with his version of his legendary three-layer sandwich. Now, while all the other things I mentioned in my article were beautiful and delicious in their own right, Arizona Inn’s Club Sandwich sits at the cool kid’s table wearing a tiara this month.
adventure coffee roasting
A frequent visitor to the Lilirt Park farmers market on Sundays, I was introduced to Adventure Coffee Roasting, a local coffee company, over a year ago. I haven’t tried the decaf, but I think it’s as good as the fully charged version. My favorite part is that if you buy a pound, you get a free coffee for him. In the early slavery of the market, especially now that it’s quite chilly, I really appreciate this offer. My preference is for darker roasts with deep, complex flavors and rich body, but overall Adventure Coffee’s coffees are all very good.
My article on Samurai Sombrero, a new food truck serving Mexican-style sushi rolls, hasn’t caught on to the Tucson Foodie wave yet, so I’ll keep it short here. But everything I’ve had the good fortune to try has been amazing, original, and absolutely delicious. Party, Tucson!
Breakfast of Champions: A generous serving of cheesecake from Crave Coffee. Nothing beats a sugar rush and a caffeine overdose to start your day.
Saganaki Burger is now one of my favorites in Tucson. When they brought me the burger beast at the bar, they set the cheese on fire and melted it in a flavorful way. am. Opaz Grill It’s on 4th Avenue.
El Chinito Gordo
I eat at El Chinito Gordo probably once a month, but this time I had something different – see Birria Chimichanga. It was cold outside that night, so I had them drizzled with a delicious red sauce (enchiladas style).
With so many great options and a passion for pie (not to mention easy cleanup and leftovers for tomorrow), you probably have pizza once a week. A big time market cheese followed by a scrumptious brownie and a pinot noir or two completes the dinner. By the way, Time Market prices different wine options for every budget. Beer is also substantial.
