When you’re craving something greasy, there’s nothing better than a doner kebab.
If you love visiting local kebab shops and want to know how to make your own kebabs at home, you’ve come to the right place.
One food fan, known as ‘grumpy_northern_foodie’ on TikTok, took to the video-sharing platform to demonstrate how to make a fake doner kebab at home using a slow cooker.
Not only does his fake away look delicious, it’s healthier than a kebab shop takeaway.
So if you have a slow cooker, this is definitely something worth trying.
Needless to say, our mouths are watering right now. If you’re a kebab fan, you’ll want to listen.
The foodie uploaded a recipe for a healthy slow cooker doner kebab and demonstrated how to make it.
In the video, a foodie is seen mixing meat and doner kebab spices in a large bowl.
Food fans also add plenty of tomato puree to the meat and mix.
Once mixed, place the meat on top of the silver foil and wrap.
Once wrapped, the foodie pierces the foil and cooks it in the slow cooker on the highest setting for 4 hours.
Once cooked, foodies cut the meat using a vegetable peeler to recreate the doner-style meat they get from kebab shops.

To accompany doner meat, social media users prepare a salad and make a delicious homemade garlic mayonnaise.
Foodies serve doner meat on a large wooden board with homemade chips, flatbreads, salads and dips.
It’s safe to watch, the meals look great, and I’ll definitely try them.
