We saw the iOS 16.1 final beta battery life test some time ago, but Apple released the final version of their software and did another battery life test.
Below is a video from iAppleBytes testing iOS 16.1 battery life compared to iOS 16.0.3 on different iPhones.
Handsets tested in the video include iPhone 13, iPhone 12, iPhone 11, iPhone SE2, iPhone XR, and iPhone 8. Check out the improved battery life in this new release.
As you can see from the video, the majority of phones didn’t see any improvement in battery life over the previous iOS 16.0.3 software.
There was a slight drop in battery life on some devices, but none of it was significant, just a minor drop.
Apple has also released the iOS 16.2 beta for iPhones, but it’s not yet clear if this new update will improve iPhone battery life.
With the iOS 16.2 beta on, it will be some time before the final version of iOS 16.2 is released. This is expected either he will be in November or he will be in early December.
