Kanye West the closure of his Donda Academy has left the program’s student-athletes in limbo… wasting a season’s worth developing their talents.
Sources with the boy Donda’s basketball team tell us the season has essentially been frozen, with few to no games scheduled. We’re told the kids have been kicked out of several tournaments because of Kanye’s anti-Semitic rants and have limited practice.
Our sources say if the kids want to train, they have to organize themselves… Donda isn’t there to help, although some coaches are working to make that happen.
Additionally, we are told that it is becoming increasingly difficult for Donda students to transfer to another school’s basketball program…mainly because Donda’s season has yet to be OFFICIALLY canceled. It’s especially bad for kids who have real talent and prospects for playing college ball.
Our sources say a potential savior is an NBA star Jaylen Brownwho recently announced he was leaving Donda Sports. We are told that Jaylen is trying to save the Donda Academy team, working for help find tournaments for gamers.
A match he has already helped schedule for the team is next Sunday against Morehouse College.
TMZ broke the story…one of the main reasons Donda closed was because faculty members and staff resigned after Kanye’s remarks.
