Katie Holmes returns to the stage after 10 years.
‘Dawson’s Creek’ actress Katie has joined the cast of the Off-Broadway production of ‘The Wanderers’ written by playwright Anna Ziegler. A movie star caught up in the life of a Jewish novelist.
The Roundabout Theater Company show will be helmed by Artistic Director Barry Edelstein of the Old Globe Theatre, opening February 16th and running through March 26th.
A statement from the theater company said of the play: An unexpected email from a movie star puts his marriage to the test, threatening to prove him wrong.”
The rest of the cast and additional creative team members will be announced at a later date.
Katy made her Broadway debut in 2008, starring in a revival of Arthur Miller’s classic play All My Sons, co-starring John Lithgow, Diane Wiest and Patrick Wilson. Her last appearance on stage was 10 years ago in her 2012 “Dead Accounts” by Teresa Lebek.
