During this week’s new episode of The Kardashians on Hulu, Kourtney Kardashian revealed that she wasn’t totally sober when she and Travis Barker walked down the aisle the first time.
The news of Kourtney and Travis secretly getting married in a Las Vegas chapel after the Grammys leaked in April but, shortly after, it was revealed that the couple had been unable to obtain a marriage license before the ceremony, therefore the marriage was not legal. And it turns out that not only Clark County, Nevada, didn’t remember, but neither did Kourtney.
“I passed out. I actually don’t remember,” Kourtney told her friend Simon Huck. “I didn’t even remember Elvis, like, singing to me walking down the aisle. I just didn’t remember. I didn’t remember I had a bouquet.”
Travis shared that the Elvis impersonator who married them kept confusing Kourtney with her younger sister Khloé Kardashian.
“They kept calling her Khloé,” Travis explained.
“When Elvis married us, he said ‘Me, Khloe, take the Travis’ and I just lost my mind and fell on the floor,” Kourtney added. However, while Kourtney didn’t remember much about that night, she remembered her lowest point of the evening.
“I threw up afterwards, however, I took my top off and unbuttoned my pants and had to, like, walk back through the hotel with a million people taking my picture. I was a hot kebab,” admitted Kourtney.
Of course, Kourtney and Travis were legally married a month later at a Santa Barbara courthouse before officially walking down the aisle in an extravagant ceremony in Italy the following week, which we’ll see in future episodes.
