LANGRADE COUNTY, Wisconsin (WAOW) — The Langlade County Sheriff’s Office has reported that the missing Sheboygan Adam Krause has been found dead.
Krause was found dead in the waters of Rolling Stone Lake on Monday night. Krause has been missing since September 30th.
No misconduct is suspected.
Krause first went missing on September 30 and was last found on a paddle boat. His boat was found empty on his October 1st.

LANGLADE COUNTY, Wisconsin (WAOW) — Police are investigating the whereabouts of 58-year-old Adam Krause, who was last seen leaving Joanie and Stubb’s East Shore Resort on Rolling Stone Lake in a paddle boat on Sept. 30. We are seeking the cooperation of the public to identify
Rolling Stone Lake is located in Pearson in northeastern Langlade County. Pearson is five miles west of Pickerell and 17 miles northeast of Antigo.
Klaus was from Sheboygan and wore a black and white plaid shirt or jacket.
Claus’s paddle boat was found unattended on the lake on the morning of October 1st. Klaus’ vehicle and cabin were also unmanned on the same day.
This week, the Langlade County Sheriff’s Office, the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office dive team, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the Wolf River Fire Department, and several other agencies conducted a large-scale fire drill in and around Rolling Stone Lake. Air, water, and ground searches were conducted without success.
