the beginning of everything
It all started when owners Sonja and Nicole wanted a friendly ice cream spot to sit, relax and enjoy. Unfortunately, the neighborhood didn’t have the good candy store they wanted…so they decided to make their own. With the help of friends, family and neighbors, Scoop Shack was founded in August 2021.

Their rotating variety of ice creams is made locally by Sundaes, a 25+ year old in the Geist area.Scoop Shack’s menu consistently features about a dozen favorites and the remaining 12. Roasts daily and may include Graham Central Station, Key Lime Pie, Blue Moon, Sticky Chewy Chocolate, Rem Oreo, and Hoosier Buckeye flavors.
Other ice cream
Light and crispy waffle cones are made right in front of you daily. The crispy pieces of these cones are used for ice cream nachos topped with scoops of ice cream and decorations. Also used for drumsticks.
During the cooler months, you can enjoy hot ice cream drinks. You can add your favorite scoop to your coffee, chai tea or hot chocolate to chocogut your chocolate or caramel with a warm drizzle. Scoop Shack offers rotating specials such as warm cinnamon rolls, brownies, and cookies (including delicious ginger molasses). That’s the scoop!

Monday Thursday: 2:00pm to 9:00pm
Friday: 2:00pm to 10:00pm
