Logic 4 Lifters held their third meeting on Thursday to inspire healthy lifestyles and share workout tips among Marshall students.
Jadon Lewis, President of Logic 4 Lifters, said: “Newbies go to the gym all the time and feel anxious and anxious and don’t want to go.”
Lewis got the idea to form a club after being approached about form and technique by fellow students while exercising at the Rec Center on campus.
The Logic 4 Lifters Club meets every other week to discuss ways to achieve a healthy lifestyle. Each meeting will include discussions on a variety of topics, from advice on diet and supplements to tips on improving your workout form and mental health.
“We talk about gym stuff like lifting and training,” Lewis said. It’s been proven that doing physical activity in is also helpful mentally.”
Logic 4 Lifters emphasizes all aspects of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and welcomes all students regardless of fitness experience or knowledge. But Lewis emphasized that the primary goal is to create a sense of community.
“This club is a safe place,” said Lewis. “It’s his discussion, a group where you can talk about your experiences if you feel like it.”
Lewis emphasized the club’s open-door policy, allowing students to drop by a club meeting any time to learn more about Logic 4 Lifters.
“Go straight in,” said Lewis. “You don’t have to be a member to come to the club. If you have time, you can stay for 15 minutes.”
