Golf pro and entrepreneur Robin James will introduce InfusenClip as a featured innovator at the 2023 PGA Show, January 24-27 in Florida.
Grand Champion of the 2022 Loudoun Innovation Challenge for InfusenClip products, James was selected for a booth scholarship at the 70th Annual PGA Show after winning the “Share Your Story” competition.
James said, “I am extremely honored to be participating in Golf’s Best Product Event and look forward to representing Loudoun’s innovative community on the streets of Orlando.” And the spotlight is much bigger than that.”
James started a business called Birdie Everything as a way to sell handcrafted ball markers for golf students and customers.
Ball markers are often attached to the brim of a hat, but James found that traditional metal clips wouldn’t hold them in place. James tinkered with a magnetic silicone design, but he found the smell to be overwhelming.
James began soaking ball markers in essential oils and herbs to mask the scent and discovered a formula that repelled bugs. She patented her solution in 2021 and brought the InfusenClip to market.
“This is a great example of how one thing in life can lead to another, and highlights the importance of action in the process of innovation. The most important step is the next step,” James said. . “Last year far exceeded my expectations.
James will discuss his innovation and entrepreneurial journey on the main stage of the 2023 PGA Show.
