Pigeon Forge, TN (WVLT) – Mountain Mile is a reinvestment of the Pigeon Forge shopping area.
The area just off Teastar Lane, a formerly vacant shopping mall, includes Downtown Flavortown and food at Jansiton 35, REI for shopping and Escapelogy for entertainment.
“A unique experience and just plain fun to be proud to be here in Pigeon Forge, there’s definitely something to behold when you think back to the 80’s and early 90’s. This used to be a thriving mall But now it’s basically an open-air mall and it’s thriving again,” said Assistant City Manager Eric Blakins.
Leon Downey, Pigeon Forge’s Director of Tourism, said:
Thrill rides drop you from 200 feet at 60 mph. Mountain Monster is for you thrill seekers.
The listening room is another dining and entertainment option.
Mary Holliday of The Listening Room said: “Our venue here is an intimate setting, so we can focus more on the writers themselves and the stories behind the songs.”
REI Pigeon Forge is the place to prepare for your next hike.
“That layering is so important. So the first layer, the base layer, as we like to call it, you want to wick away sweat. But don’t think cotton isn’t a big deal and you might not be ready for an active vacation or hygiene etc. You can use whatever helps you stay comfortable,” says Cameron Campbell of REI.
