Talent show on November 5th at Tec-We-Gwill Hall
Last weekend, Tec-We-Gwill Hall hosted open auditions for the talent show on November 5th.
“We had a great response from local artists who had performed on previous shows, but also included many new performers,” said event coordinator Mark Burchell.
There was a talent ride range rated at ages 16 to 95. It was mostly musicals and had two storytellers of his.
Vocalist Aislyn Blakely, who usually sings solo to recorded music, has had occasion to perform with musicians Steve Harcombe and Don Thornton, as well as sing duets with Thornton.
Another highlight of the rehearsals, according to Burchell, was when Erika Helman decided to take the stage with her musician husband, Meade, who was delighted.
The talent show will take place on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at the Tec-We-Gwill Women’s Institute Hall in Newton Robinson.
Doors open at 6:30pm (reserved seating) and the show runs from 7:00pm to 9:30pm. Admission is he $10 per person, free for under 16s.
