SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO) — Local concert promoter has a reputation for giving back.
Here in Sioux Falls, Pepper Entertainment has established a national foundation to serve the communities and organizations it serves nationwide.
Pepper Entertainment has booked a celebrity in the music industry.
President Jared Johnson started the business in the basement of his home and has grown it into one of the nation’s top concert promoters.
He says it’s time to start showing gratitude by giving back through the creation of the Pepper Entertainment Foundation.
“Last summer, we partnered with the Sioux Falls School District to make guitar lessons available at all Sioux Falls high schools,” says Johnson.
That program exploded.
“Most, if not all, of our classes are not at capacity. It was really cool to see it come together and something like that sparked the idea of expanding our foundation.” I got it,” said Johnson.
So now they are reaching out to other communities across the country to support local charities.
“The goal with this is to focus on music and art,” Johnson said.
Through their foundation, they are happy to support other organizations of all kinds. One dollar of every ticket sold at a Pepper Entertainment show goes to a local or national cause.
“We have an application process on our website. As a team, we review these applications to make sure they align with our vision and mission,” said Analisa McKelvey Marketing Manager.
A mission to enrich the lives of today’s youth in various ways.
“We hope to work with organizations in need of assistance, apply through our foundation, and give back as much as possible,” said Johnson.
