UNIVERSAL CITY, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — A Universal Studios Hollywood performer was rushed to hospital after a stunt accident was reported on Monday afternoon.
According to a Universal Studios Hollywood spokesperson, it happened during an afternoon performance. Initial reports indicated there was a possibility of drowning and the Los Angeles County Fire Department said the man needed CPR upon arrival.
“Our thoughts are with him as he receives care,” the spokesperson said. “Details surrounding the event are under review.”

A witness who spoke to Eyewitness News said it all happened during a WaterWorld performance. He said the performer was on one of the towers and, as part of the act, fell into the water.
The witness told ABC7 that the other workers noticed his disappearance and went into the water to pull him up.
In a video obtained by Eyewitness News, several people are seen pulling the entertainer into a backstage area.
The witness said the show was suddenly canceled and guests were escorted out.
The performer’s condition remains unknown.
