Yesterday Porsche unveiled its latest 911, the Porsche 911 Carrera T, and is now showing a promotional video for the car.
The new 911 T comes with a 7-speed manual transmission as standard, and Porsche’s PDK automatic transmission is available as an option.
The “T” in the model designation of the Porsche 911 Carrera T stands for touring, and its history dates back to 1968 when the 911 T was homologated as a touring car. This first of his 911 T he served until 1973 and was revived by Porsche in 2017. A pure 911 variant with the 911 Carrera T from the 991 model line. Since then, the concept of a stripped-down but very sporty set-up has been adopted by other model lines, such as the 718 Cayman T, 718 Boxster T and Macan T.
Exterior, the Porsche 911 Carrera T stands out from other model lines with its dark gray accentuating details. Contrasting elements such as the upper and lower trim of the door mirrors, new door and rear logos and the trim strips on the rear lid grille are in Agate Gray. The windshield also features a gray top tint. The tailpipes of the sports exhaust system are in high-gloss black. All this gives the new 911 Carrera T an even more outgoing and dynamic look.
