Rain and thunderstorms are likely today. Some of the rain will be on the stronger side at times. Some of the thunderstorms are sometimes on the severe side. Strong winds and gusts are the main causes of severe to severe thunderstorms. Occasionally, we see several isolated tornado possibilities. There is also the possibility of occasional heavy hail. Most of the activity will be cleared from our area by late afternoon. Tuesday’s high reaches his mid-to-late 70s.
We will see a high pressure move over our area to dominate the weather forecast for the rest of the week. On Wednesday and Thursday, temperatures are expected to start in the mid-to-high 40s and still reach the high 60s and low 70s in the afternoon under mostly clear skies. Rain is more likely this weekend until low pressure persists.
