Eugenie, the youngest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, gave birth to her first child, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, 13th in line to the throne, at London’s Portland Hospital in February 2021.
Buckingham Palace announced the news today, saying, “Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are delighted to announce that they are expecting their second child this summer.
“The family is delighted and August is very much looking forward to becoming a big brother.”

It’s unclear where Princess Eugenie and August’s photo was taken, but it appears to have been taken with frost on the ground in recent weeks.
In the snap, a mother of one can be seen beaming at her young son who enthusiastically cradled her tummy.
It is currently unknown if she is expecting a boy or a girl.
Eugenie and her husband Jack began dating in 2011 and confirmed their relationship when they appeared at Royal Ascot that same year.

The two continued their long-distance relationship when Eugenie left London in 2013 to work at a New York auction house.

But it took another two years before Jack posed the question while they were away from Nicaragua in January 2018.

Eugenie goes on to say that August’s name is a moving tribute to Queen Victoria’s husband, Prince Albert (born Franz Albert August Karl Emmanuel), and Prince Philip, who died at the age of 99. made clear.
