DONA ANA COUNTY, N.M. — Residents of Messilah Park say they were told the postal service was suspended in their area.
Over the past two months, deliveries in Mesilla Park have been delayed, and Karin Puette is ready to do whatever it takes to contact the US Postal Service and have her questions answered. Puette even said she would drive to Phoenix, Arizona, where the U.S. Postal Service clerk was stationed.
She says she first noticed the problem when neighbors went to the post office and asked why their mail was being held. Puette said it was her neighbor who knew the mail hadn’t arrived, so the USPS didn’t issue a warning to residents in the area that the mail would be delayed, she said.
He was told the interruption was due to construction.
Residents are concerned the suspension could affect bills, finances and even medical issues. I would like to take the same route as UPS and FedEx, who have
