Love wine and plants? Are you about vegan living? If you answered yes, you have an event.
The SEED Food and Wine Festival will be held at several different Miami-Dade locations this year, offering 101 lessons on how to live a meatless life.
Sow the seed and you will find it.
Alison Burgos: “The name Seed Food and Wine is inspired by something like planting a seed and watching it grow.”
Growing and eating it is also what the SEED Food and Wine Festival is all about.
Sip, savor, exercise and ask “what is this made of?” in this 4-day vegan foodie event.
Alison Burgos: “We have eight events. We have celebrity chef wine pairing dinners. We have a large Grand Tasting Village. ”
One of this year’s burger battle contenders is Perrology. Doral-based hood his truck is gunning for the title with Latin-style burgers.
Perrology spokesperson: “This burger has plant-based patties, melty cheddar cheese, crispy fried onions, jalapeños and sweet plantains.”
All that goodness sits between vegan brioche buns.
In addition to light meals, there are also plenty of dishes made with earthen materials.
Jules Aron: “I make two non-alcoholic cocktails. The first one is Smoke and Sparkle. It’s an infusion.”
If you’re ready to reap what you sow, start vegan with this flavorful party.
