But what if it’s a soup that’s been cooked for over 40 years?

It may sound stranger than it actually is.
A restaurant called Wattana Panich in Bangkok, Thailand, is known for its specialty soups that it has been cooking for 48 years.
If you are familiar with food shows, you will know that there are many great foodies out there who have managed to find the strangest and wackiest restaurants in the world.This is one of those restaurants. I can assure you that it is one.

“The current owner’s grandfather came up with the idea. The previous owner started cooking in 1974. Every night from that day on, he pureed the soup and meat, refrigerated it, and continued cooking the next day. Owner” (MSN)
The soup contains about 25 kilos of beef and is kept simmering in a large pot. And served with standard noodles.
A bowl of this rich and flavorful soup costs €3, roughly R54.
It has been reviewed by many foodies online and is said to be a must try if you are in Bangkok.
