Former “Survivor” and candidate for “The Challenge: USA” Tyson Apostol thinks he could wipe the floor with the MTV program OGs… but the must-have series Johnny Bananas thinks he has no idea what he’s talking about.
We caught up with Johnny in New York on Tuesday…and he thinks Tyson’s claims don’t hold water – adding that the reality star is a little too new to the show to poke fun at him.
Simply put – Johnny doesn’t think TA is ready to run with the big boys.
To those who compare me to those of the “OG” challenge… Many of them can bench press more than me but 70-80 or even 90% of the game I crush them. Talking Cake Walk.

In case you missed it, Tyson was a standout contestant on the CBS spinoff, but last month he called out the majority of the cast on Twitter… saying the showdown would be a breeze.
“The Challenge: USA” — which is wrapping up its first season — takes recognizable faces from “Big Brother,” “Survivor” and other CBS shows and pits them against each other, just like MTV does.
Johnny said he was glad the show landed on another network, thinking it would bring MTV’s eyes back to the series – but he calls the CBS series the “Walmart version” and has very clear ideas about the way they can upgrade. Hint: It implies it.
