The winning numbers were drawn Saturday night for the second biggest jackpot in Powerball history.
The winning numbers are: 19, 31, 40, 46, 57 with a Powerball of 23.
Powerball game executives have raised the jackpot estimate to $825 million for Saturday night’s draw after ‘strong’ ticket sales across the country, according to a Press release of the Multi-State Lottery Association.
“If a player wins Saturday’s jackpot, it will rank as the second-biggest jackpot in Powerball history, only behind the world record $1.586 billion Powerball jackpot and the fifth-biggest jackpot in Powerball history. the American lottery,” the statement read.
The draw took place at the Florida Lottery Draw Studio in Tallahassee at 10:59 p.m. ET Saturday.
“Saturday’s jackpot became Powerball’s biggest prize so far this year. The jackpot was last hit on August 3, when a ticket in Pennsylvania matched all five white balls and one red Powerball to win a jackpot of $206.9 million. Since then, the jackpot race has had 36 consecutive draws without a grand prize winner,” the statement read. “If the jackpot eludes players for the 37th time on Saturday, it is estimated that the jackpot will reach $1 billion in annuity for the next draw on Monday, October 31.”
According to the release, Powerball currently holds the world record for the biggest jackpot, which was set in 2016.
“The record jackpot of $1.586 billion was shared by winners in California, Florida and Tennessee,” the statement read.
