Downtown St. Pete is already a hub for fine wine, fine dining and beautiful waterfront scenery, but next weekend’s foodie extravaganza brings all three together.
The 10th edition of Savor St. Pete, the local food and wine festival, will transform North Straub Park into a 25,000 square foot culinary destination from November 5-6.
Pinellas-based restaurants serving food at next weekend’s festival include 400 Beach Seafood & Taphouse, Bavaro’s, Bolay, Sculley’s, Tijuana Flats, Tryst and the recently opened Beach Drive eatery Allello. .
At $95, general admission tickets are expensive, but include goodies from festival sponsors, plus unlimited food, beer, and wine samples from some of Tampa Bay’s most popular restaurants, chefs, breweries, and wineries. . VIP tickets cost $125 but come with early access and a private tent to enjoy food and wine.
The entire event runs from 1:00pm to 4:00pm both days, but how fast you consume the unlimited amount of samples is entirely up to you.
All tickets are available at freshtix.com, but the VIP tier on November 5th is already sold out. In addition to unlimited food and drink samples, attendees will also have the opportunity to learn from various mixology sessions and cooking demonstrations throughout the festival.
To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Savor St. Pete is also hosting various Instagram contests. In this contest, the lucky winner can take home a gift card to a local restaurant or a gift basket of liquor for her.
