It emerged last week that Sheamus was being removed from WWE programming for the shortly after he was “hurt” by The Bloodline on “Smack down.” Indeed, Sheamus will move away a little from the WWE; however, he will do so for gratifying, not alarming reasons.
PWInsider confirmed that Sheamus is getting married this weekend to his fiancée. Although the exact date of the ceremony is not known, the couple will marry in New York.
While it’s unclear how many wrestlers will be attending the nuptials, one person confirmed by PWInsider will be there, Sheamus’ on-screen rival and close friend Drew McIntyre. In fact, McIntyre will be Sheamus’ best man for the nuptials, and as such will not be part of the tapings for Friday night’s “SmackDown” duel in St. Louis, Missouri. McIntyre’s responsibilities in Sheamus’ marriage will also cause him to miss an upcoming European tour, including a stopover in McIntyre’s native Scotland.
As Sheamus marries and “recovers” from the heinous attack he suffered last week, his fellow Brawling Brutes, Ridge Holland and Butch, will seek revenge. The duo will face Bloodline members Sami Zayn and Solo Sikoa in tag team action on Friday night’s episode of “SmackDown”.
The show would also feature Emma’s Return (Tenille Dashwood), Ronda Rousey defends the ‘SmackDown’ Women’s Championship in an open challenge and appearance from Bloodline frontman and undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
