Having had such a great experience at another Macon, the GA Applebee staff decided to try this one as well.

Normally I start my review a bit late in the afternoon to avoid the lunch rush catastrophe, but this place was peaceful and quiet and remained so throughout my visit, so I decided to start a little earlier this timeMore .

Our team arrived at 12:47pm to find only 4 small tables in the large restaurant. Once seated by a very nice host, our server quickly finished and took our drink and appetizer orders. Literally he’s less than 3 minutes from being seated.

On this visit, our team decided to share the spinach and artichoke dip appetizer. When we arrived at 12:59, it did not disappoint.
Our server this time was not only incredibly attentive and polite, but extremely prompt, competent and confident.
After seeing a recent commercial for handcrafted burgers, both members of our crew opted for the new Bourbon Mushroom Swiss Burger with fries and the advertised add-on of five boneless chicken wings for $1. A group of us went to Honey BBQ as the CEO and his wife loved it so much for their anniversary.
I ordered a burger at 12:50 and after the crew rushed to give me time to enjoy my appetizer, the burger arrived at 1:10. It was literally perfect timing and coordination by the server.

The food was exceptional. The burger was meaty, juicy and perfectly cooked. Meanwhile, the fries were hot, crunchy, and golden brown. Not to mention the boneless honey BBQ wings were as good as the CEO and his wife reported.

For dessert, I decided to take advantage of Applebee’s new menu item, miniature cinnabon rolls with icing. Unfortunately they were stuffed by the time the desert came and had to take it with them. I noticed that it consisted of a dozen delightful little treats that reach heaven.
Ultimately, our team found the meals to be very well priced considering the quality, quantity and taste of the meals.
