Indians love this snack in all shapes and forms, such as panipuri, golgappe, patache, puchika. Golgappe is popular not only for street style, but also for parties and gatherings. Take some crispy puri, add your favorite filling, drizzle with a little chutney, soak in water and dig in! Eating golgappe together is also a community activity that creates a unique bond between people. But one such recent innovation for sharing Golgappe has caused an uproar among foodies on Twitter: One user shared a photo of the Golgappa Fountain on his Twitter account, interestingly enough. User reaction to the bizarre creation was mixed. Let’s see:

This photo was shared on Twitter by user Sameer S named @Naa_Cheese. “I need this Golgappe Fountain in my life,” a user wrote in the caption, clicking to see the Golgappa Fountain with Teeka his Pani. This fountain setup is usually only used for chocolates at parties and weddings. But this Golgappa fountain put a delicious twist on the concept and used it to dispense Golgappa water instead. People could take their own puris, fill it with the required amount of water, and binge to their heart’s content.
A tweet about the Golgappa Fountain garnered over 4.2k likes and hundreds of comments. In fact, some people thought the idea was so original that they wanted to try it too. “This will be the best-selling product in India,” predicted one Twitter user. “That looks kind of disgusting!” Renowned chef and author Padma Lakshmi also responded to Golgappa Fountain, saying, “It’s not what you want, it’s what you need!”
