We’ve already heard about macOS Ventura, iPadOS 16, and iOS 16.1, and now watchOS 9.1 for Apple Watch.
The watchOS 9.1 software update brings several improvements to Apple Watch. This includes extended battery life while hiking, running, walking outdoors, and more. You can now download music to your Apple Watch even if your device isn’t connected to a charger.

This update includes improvements for Apple Watch.
– Reduced frequency of heart rate and GPS readings on Apple Watch Series 8, Apple Watch SE (2nd generation), and Apple Watch Ultra extends battery life during outdoor walking, running, and hiking workouts it was done
– You can use Wi-Fi or cellular to download music when your Apple Watch is not connected to a charger
– Support for Matter, the new smart home connectivity standard, allowing different smart home accessories to work together across the ecosystem.
This update also includes bug fixes for Apple Watch.
The new watchOS 9.1 software update is now available for download. You can install it from the Apple Watch app on your iPhone. Place your Apple Watch on the charger and make sure it’s at least 50% charged.
