The New York University Creative Writing Program’s Fall 2022 Reading Series continues in November and December with Wo Chan (November 4), John Freeman (November 10), Rio Cortez (November 18), and Angie Cruz. There will be an event featuring (December 1st). ), among others.
All events are held at the program’s home, the Lillian Vernon Creative Writers House, at 58 W. 10th Street (between 5th and 6th Aves.) and are free and open to the public. Wo Chan Starring as Illustrious Pearl is a poet and drug artist. They are the winners of the Night Boat Poetry Award, sense of unity (2022). Samiyah Bashir A poet, author, librettist, performer and multimedia poetry maker, his work, both solo and collaborative, has been exhibited in Africa, Europe and the United States. Bashir is the author of three of his poetry collections, most recently field theory, Winner of the 2018 Oregon Book Awards Stafford/Hall Poetry Award.
John Freeman established a literary year freemans, whose latest theme is animals. He is also the executive editor of his Alfred A. Knopf. The author and editor of 11 books, he lives in New York City and hosts his California Book Club. Alta magazine.his new book wind, wood, anthology. His writings have been translated into over 20 of his languages.
