Zac Efron is stunning with his transformation in the upcoming film, “The Iron Claw”…and he has a stamp of approval from a very important person — Kevin Von Erichthe wrestling legend played by Zac.
Kevin tells TMZ…not only does Zac’s portrayal get a big boost…it seems like his daughters are fine with the casting choice as well.
As for Zac’s physique, Kevin says it’s not an easy task to pull off – telling us it was long enough to stay in shape like that at his peak… giving the actor props to have looks as good.

FYI – the upcoming film is all about Von Erich’s legacy… featuring the family of wrestlers who have been breaking into the game, since the ’60s. Alongside Zac, Jeremy Allen White will play Kevin’s brother, Kerry.
Kevin had little to no involvement in the film other than talking to the director, Sean Durkin, sometimes. He didn’t tell Zac about the role.
Either way, Kevin is thrilled to find this one…and might even throw a family movie night in his backyard in Kauai. Ahhh, island life!!!
